I think a lot of people enjoy the many trouble free miles in their GMC's.
my wife and I have been from Portland, Or to the western states rally in
Utah and to GMC International in Las vagas without any mishaps. But today
before driving the coach to storage I set the emergency brake and then drove
for 10 miles with it set. quite a lot of smoke when I stopped. Probably a
loose nut behind the wheel or "sometimers". And as far as all of the
questions that are asked that could be looked up. I enjoy the conversation
about these coaches and it helps me when something may need help and give me
confidence to tackle it. Thank You All For The Help! Tim Jones

My trips have been good. When I bought this one I had a flat soon so
replaced all tires even though they looked good. Then the water pump leaked:
so, I replaced the pump, fan clutch, fan, alternator, all belts, hoses,
starter and put electronic ignition on. I thought early on I didn't want a
breakdown on the road. So, now that I've got new carpet and flooring
throughtout plus new TV/VCR and killer sound system and have it in nearly
new or better, it's time to sell. That's the way it usually goes. I must
like the project aspects.

Food for thought out there in radio land: I put a parkay floor over the
enginer compartment & it looks good.

Oh! regarding the sound system as someone wanted speaker info; I installed
an eclipse reciever, cassette, 12 CD changer + eclipse speakers. It will
blow you away if you want. Forget Sony & Alpine; they're good, but this is
excellent. For those who want more than 'just sound'.

All my road trips have been good and enjoyable. I've put 20 kMi on this past
year. And, I've heard stories, but, this thing gets 10 mpg (12 if you baby
along slow) and has power. Want 80 mph? you got it! Will gain speed up hill.

Regards to every one as I always read all E-mail each week and enjoy it.
