Let's work on this subject for awhile. Many of you have rebuilt or replaced
your engine in your GMC. Who did the job for you? Who does the best job?
What other engines have you put in and how are they performing? Let's run
with this awhile. I will need to replace my engine in the near future and
from what I can tell there are alot of options out there. Tell me about
them.-----Original Message-----

GMC MOTORHOME INFORMATION

I can't help but get back to the engine. It is interesting to hear about
all the work being done on all the "old" 403 and 455 engines. I am learning
alot from it all. But, as someone else said, what about new engines? Max
showed me the chevy engine he is installing at Buskirk's and it is a
beautiful piece of work. They take great pride in their work. What has
anyone else done as far as NEW engines? If we are going to operate the
motorhome into the future at some point we will have to adapt to new
technology, new metal. So what does everyone else have in mind when that
time comes.
