Patrick I would be interested in finding out if anyone is using the allison
torque converter and what they think about them. Noticed that Danny Dunn is
using it in his HD transmission he advertises in the market Place for $1550.

That is what was put into mine, along with a shift kit, and CASPRO gears and the new
seals. Also, the CASPRO final Drive was added too. Seems to work fine.
What should I look for if this is not satisfactory? I don't know the difference.
My new motor and transmission seem to be very snappy and defined as far as shifting.

I have noticed no loss of power going up hills. There is about a 6% grade that is
2.5 mile long. From the bottom to the top I go from a dead stop to 65 MPH to the
top and have plenty of pedal to go, it does not down shift during this operation
either. Chuck
