I agree, there are just so many things we can do. I wanted all of the
safety things done, and then it is time to hit the road. If it fails , it
fails. I have not touched my transmission, but I am not going to change it
just in case....... I am sure it will not be convenient when it goes out,
but I am not going to keep a spare to ship. I like Dave's idea, credit
card and a towing card. You can even get a new radiator overnight from
cinnabar if you need to. Might have to drive the toad for a while.
Also, if you are doing the work your self, it does not cost that much and
it is part of the fun.
I get this all the time, " For what you have in that GMC you could live in
the best hotels for 10 years.---- I usually answer..... but who would want
to....
