All....
Thanks to all for your suggestions about engine overheat.
My first step will be to replace the radiator Cap. I checked
the stock 9 lb cap and it seemed in good shape but may be a little
weak. I went over to Checker Auto and ordered a 10 lb
replacement. It should be in today. I got the part number
of the california.com eagle list on the net.
I think the fan clutch is working as while on the highway, I could
hear a whirring sound and wondered what it was. I'm going to
be on the highway again on Saturday and will make a point to
listen for it and will watch the temp gage closely.
I'll report the progress.
Thanks to all again for their suggestions.
