I'm still working on my front brakes and while I have the plastic fender
liners out, I thought I'd consider putting in some vent holes to bleed
off some engine heat.

If I remember correctly, there was something dealing with this subject a
while ago but I don't recall the details. Anyone who can give me some
advice on this???

Many thanks.

I am faced with the same problem but I have decided not to cut holes in the
body. i plan to install two 4 inch PVC pipes on the back fire wall ending
even with the bottom of the coach (cut the pipe at an angle so the end of
the pipe is horizontal with the ground). I think it will scavenge hot air
out of the engine compartment. If not than I will install two muffin fans
inside of the pips attached to a thermostat. I am sure it will work without
altering the outside of the coach. Just a thought.
