Which emergency roadcare service do y'all recommend?

I've never had one except for AAA for my automobiles and the AAA RV rider
doesn't look so hot. Been looking into Camping World Roadcare, Good Sam
Roadcare, and RV Alliance Emergency Roadcare.

Sure like to know what other's experiences have been with these companies,
especially:
a) do they come when you need them, and
b) will they tow you to a facility that can really work on our GMC's or just to
the nearest truck stop?

Thanks in advance for your comments,

Richard

(p.s. - My travel is mostly in the Mountain States and Western U.S.)

Richard,
I use Good Sam road service. When I asked around it got the best
comments.
Free Unlimited towing, Free Unlimited roadside rescue service plus alot
of other features. You can call 1-800-510-3330 to check it out.

The major thing to bear in mind when selecting your service is to read
the fine print. Will they tow your GMC to the nearest service facility or
"to the nearest "qualified" service facility"? That is the question.

I have found that Camping World and Good Sam use the same dispatch
service. I had occasion to need service from Camping World (twice in the
same week) and they performed without question.

Good Sam is also excellent but you have to maintain membership in Good
Sam which is extra $$ if you only join to have access to the road
service. As a lifetime Good Sam member that doesn't matter to me but it
might make a difference to some.

I haven't signed up yet for FMCA's service but I might do that next just
to try them out.

As I have suggested before, if you break down and need a tow, call
someone on the Black List or the GMC MH/I roster before you call the
towing service. Since most towing services will only tow you once, find
out where you want to go before you call them.

How about Camping World? I signed up for 2 years. It was not too expensive
($79.00/year). I sure hope they can help me when I have a break down. However, at
the rate the snow is coming, I guess I don't have to worry about break downs as the
coach will still be in storage in July.

I am using Good sam but will change to RV alliance when I get my insurance
through them. But as a point of interest I called both Camping World and
Good Sam and the expert on the phone said it doesn't matter. Were both the
same company. use the same phones, lines, people. So I guess the comment
below is right. Doesn't matter, but I will be changing to RV Alliance/

JR don't mean to be argumentative but when I checked last year retail for my
coach in NADA was $13,500 or something on that order.

>RV Alliance insurance has the roadcare assistance built into it. You pay no

>ladies is under $5000 each, no matter how nice the coach is. My stated value
>of $20,000 runs about $450 as best I can recall.
