Boy you ask a lot of questions.... :-)

The rollers, etc are stainless. Next time you're in town look for an
aircraft parts place... or let your keyboard do the walking. Marine places
may have the same. Rollers replaced the rods. Routing is same as it was but
the rollers were installed so as to not hit the frame.

I'll get you some of the other answers later.
In the middle of extending a wiring harness and the soldering iron is hot.
