Troops, I am a bit late on commenting on this device I have. Here are some
information and aspects of it's service. And, yes, it does faxes also.
PocketMail is accessible from most telephones located anywhere in the world.
All telephone calls to access PocketMail can be made to 800-POCKETM
(1-800-762-5386) or to 408-969-8681. The country code for the United States
is 1. Please note that calls made to access PocketMail are subject to toll
charges, but will not affect your monthly PocketMail charges*.
*Faxes sent to numbers within the United States are $.25 USD each; faxes to
numbers outside the United States are $1.00 USD.
If you want to know more about it or want to sign up, holler and I'll do
whatever I can to help. Now for a commercial break, if you sign up and say
you were referred by me giving them my name and email, I'll get some free
service. Any you recommend and sign up, you get some free service.
I have the Sharp device. First, I couldn't find the JVC model so I got the
one I could find. The Sharp has some additional features that are nice.
No problem communicating from any phone. Send and receive emails or faxes.
The only problem I have had was getting overloaded with chat line emails
when I failed to call in regularly. Lesson learned. When at home, I get
pocketmail emails in my home computer. On the road, it comes via pocket
mail. I can also get mail from my regular ISP through pocket mail. Good
deal while traveling.
