Electronic Odometer

If, for completely legal, moral, ethical and non-fattening reasons you
wanted to disconnect the electronic odometer on you 2000 Tracker, how
would you do it? This would be usefull to someone with a 2000 Tracker
that is leased that he/she wanted to use as a TOAD.

With the battery disconnected will it still continue to tick? Any ideas
much appreciated.

There is a speedo/odo. disconnect available to use while towing. Check with
your local tow bar dealer. They should be able to help you. Darren

Ron,

AFAIK, electric odometers do not run when the ignition switch is off. Best
thing is to try it on a short trip and see if the mileage adds up.
