> 1976 Royale 455. I believe I have the Level 1. Interesting problem this week. Went camping. left airbag aired up and hissed loudly to let air
> out. Right airbag seemed to air up but not letting air out. Couldn't get it leveled. Can't find a reset. Not sure how to fix this. When I set
> it to travel auto and came home it appeared to be at the right riding height. What am I missing here.

You probably have a bad connection to one of those valves back in the suspension cabinet.
The diagrams for all this exist in the maintenance manuals.

Disassemble the three switches and clean the contacts. They tend to get dirty after 40 years of service. The switches come apart easily. Just do
not loose any of the parts.

There was a thin sheet of foam under there rocker buttons to keep dust out of switch. Some time it the 80s it turned to chemical goo much like the
foam backing on GM headliners of that period. Stuff stains fabric like a tar and hard to get off hands. The switches have actual points contacts,
very well made, but goo will insulate them. Simply spraying contact cleaner did not work. Had to be scraped off contact points. But you can remove
the panel with 3 switches, unplug connectors and check switches with an Ohm meter on BEEP as you would any DPDT switch from center to outsides on both
sides. If good then that is mot the problem.

John, While a ohmeter check should show an open on the switch contact(s), I prefer to check them using voltage and under load. I few 1/10ths of an
ohm on a contact under load will cause enough voltage drop to cause a failure. A few 1/10ths of an ohm will usually be over looked and can sometimes
cause the meter to beep in continuity check mode. The other thing as preventative for future switch contact problems, I prefer to tell people just
clean the contacts. That is clean, not just spray them with cleaner.

I just disassembled all 3 switches and cleaned the contacts because of a problem similar to to what you experienced. It is worth the effort, as it
will only get worse if you don't.
