We are unable to exhust or let down the airbag on the drivers side.
Passenger side works just fine. Where to start looking?
I know where the valves are next to compressor and which side connects to
what valves. Is this where the problem lies ?

We have the 77-78 GMC Maintance Manual X 7725 as well as Operating Manual X
7821A and X 7521A which are copies of the originals. This is all that came
with MH.
Is the Maintance Manual the same as the Service Manual?
What other manuals would it be wise to have?

Those are the Manuals for your GMC. They are worth their weight in gold
and very expensive to replace. They contain most info that you will
need for your GMC.
