Allen - I believe this issue came up on some earlier postings. As I
recall, it wasn't recommended to hang that much weight on the rear of a
vehicle that is already light on the front end. You might want to peruse
the earlier digests.

Well the house is back on the market so I'm finally getting closer to the
23' purchase I've been planning for several months now (let me know if you
spot one, 23' any year). So here's my question.
Does anyone have a practical way to travel with a GMC and motorcycle (a new
Harley Sportster is 7.3 feet long and weighs about 500 pounds). I have seen
3 wheel trailers but wonder if it's possible to build a hydraulic type lift
and lockdown device into the rear bumper. Any ideas?
