Dual Westach Temp Gauge - for what ??

That Westach dual temp indicator was typically mounted in the instrument panel between the Speedo and the instrument cluster. Just up a little in that open area. You can select you want to monitor and it should have the type of thermocouple to use on the back. This is not a cheap gauge. They sell today at about $200 give or take. A number of years back there were several GMCers that put them in the dash. There was an article somewhere that I remember that I cannot find, maybe someone else has a good memory.

Thanks JR !!

I already have the one of which you speak... between the Speedo and the instrument cluster. It displays RPM and Vacuum. Works GREAT.

Having thought about it since my original post - I’m more convinced that the gauge is intended for transmission temperatures.

PAN is most likely the transmission pan and T/C is a thermocouple probably at the outlet of the cooler.

And... maybe T/C is Transmission Cooler !!

Thanks again,
SW

Hey Steve. I have the same tach/vac gauge between the two large dash gauges. Love the thing.

The dual gauge you've got would be perfect for transmission pan and final drive.
