Paul,
I had dual exhaust installed several years on my 26 ft. '73 GMC, both
exhaust pipe's are bent to exit on the side of the coach approx. 7 feet
behind the drivers seat right at the front edge of the kitchen window.
We have never smelled any exhaust fumes or experienced any problems. We
sometimes drive with the small front windows open and have a carbon
monoxide detector, it doesen't alarm (and yes it is in good working
condition).

Jim:

Don't know if it is yours, but at the GMCMI Titusville Rally in Mar 96,
I saw (also took a picture of it) a white GMC also with duals exiting on
each side of the coach. In addition, they had a long, thin fiberglass
ground effect piece just ahead of where the pipe appears on each side.
