You might find that you might be able to get a cable modem sooner then DSL. From
what I understand the distance from the telco offices will keep many from getting
DSL. Of course distance is a problem with cable too. I just know that I kept
calling and calling about both DSL and cable modems and cable won the race around
here. DSL is just starting to become available in selected areas here in SE
Michigan. My son DSL in Ann Arbor last Fall. We got the cable modem last
Spring.
