Had to chip in. A place to check your security while
on the Internet is at www.grc.com. The company is
Gibson Research and they offer free online tests to
determine how difficult it would be for a vandal to
access your computer.
They also recommend some Firewalls, one of the best
being a shareware program called ZoneAlarm. It is
available for free downloading from www.zonelabs.com.
I use it and my son (a Microsoft tecky) is still
trying to get in after a week of attempts.
