FYI...
My '75 GB transmission downshift switch was intermittent so I replaced it.
Works perfectly now. Found out you need to install it just as it ships. If
you play with it, like I did, it clicks past a detent and is adjusted too
far to work properly. Just let the gas pedal "adjust" the throw by itself or
push it back up all the way to reset it.
Funny thing is I spent an hour looking in the parts and service manuals
and they list the first generation but do not list this part (second
generation). I called all over and finally found a '76-'77 Toro downshift
switch to be the exact match. No one here had it and had to drive 120 miles
round trip to get it but it was worth it. Man, the coach a real dog w/o it!
GM P/N 1242101.
Hope this helps someone in the future...

Mike,
Yup, I know its a good number... that was my point. It's no where to be
found in any of the manuals. Best write it down in your manual like I did. I
had to find it myself by calling around. Sorry for the confusion, guy.
