I have always tried to do my best to follow all the technical posts on
this most informative board, but I must confess there is a current topic
that has me completely baffled. I have been lurking in the hopes that
someone else would step forward and ask the question, but I impatiently
yearn for knowledge:
What in the H*** is a "Double Twelve Domino"?
In my college days, this would simply mean two 12 inch pizzas delivered
to my dorm room in 30 minutes or less. Why are there double 9's and
double 6's? If everything is double why not just call them 6's, 9's, and
12's? And then there is the disturbing term "Choo Choo Train". This also
had an entirely different meaning in my college days.
Since I've never played dominos I look forward to Glyn or someone
furthering my education.
