Someone had posted a CarQuest number on the net for a double wrap
length of clamp but CarQuest has discontinued that number and the
replacement is only about 20" long which will not go around twice.
We need at least 32".
I found that NAPA has a double wrap one that works fine. Part number
3416. $3.31 plus tax in Santa Fe.
The tool that is needed to tension this type of strap is available
from AutoZone under their Loan-A-Tool program. It is a Cal-Van
AZ975. AutoZone's number is 002058 27056. You pay the $10.00 tool
cost and when you return it you get your $10 back. Or,if you want
one in your tool box you can buy and keep it for $10.
