DOT 5.1 brake fluid

Thank you for the clarification. I think I'll do a flush and change to DOT 4. That's what I have in all my other vehicles and I usually have couple
of new bottles of it sitting on the shelf. I havn't seen DOT 5.1 in my local stores yet.

This is the fluid that I have been using in the coach.

You can find it at almost all big box stores. Buy 2, bleed the crap out of the system starting with the passenger rear bogey and so one. In the MM X-7525, section 5, page 14 give a suggested order of bleeding. I have a vacuum bleeder that I use.

I have also just gravity bled the brakes too. If you have drums in the back still you also need to adjust the shoes too. Should bring up the brake pedal a little bit too.

I order my DOT 5.1 brake fluid from Amazon:
