It was recently pointed out to me that the cause of this problem is usually that
the door was allowed to swing wide open, jamming it against the black molding
strip that runs along the side of the coach and consequently forcing the door in
at its midsection and out at the top and bottom edges.

If you look back through the archives starting with about Feb 1, you will see
that I posted a similar question with regard to the door on my GMC. I was
directed to the GMC Service Bulletins. They address this problem and give
instructions on how to bend the door back to original contour.

After reading the instructions I decided to improvise slightly. I removed to
door, laid it on the grass with outside of door facing down, placed the base of
the GMC jack on the hinge side of the door frame opposite the horizontal black
molding that is on the outside surface of the door, then wrapped a yellow nylon
tow strap around the door and jack so I could jack up on the toe strap, thereby
pulling in on the top and bottom edges of the door and pressing out on the
middle of the door (sort of like a bow and arrow).

It worked.
