Door does not latch, loose

Guys,
My door closes beautifully now.
Per Keith, I removed the mounting plate and ran it through the Bridgeport taking the outward edge back 1/8". I then followed Keith's direction by egging out the holes so the plate could slide outward.
All worked great. I switched plates with a spare as I'm going to remove the rubber on the pin, turn a roller of the same diameter, reinstall and weld the pin. I think that will be a final and long lasting repair.
I finished the metal work on the door rain gutter/drip edge. Tomorrow I prep, prime and paint for a final install this week.

Well, I did get the original door seal from Sirum. I removed the old seal that I had modified and scrubbed all of the glueing surfaces with a wire brush and Brake Clean to remove all possible oils. Then using contact cement, glued the new seal in place, a fairly easy task. After a reasonable drying time, I tried closing the door, and while it caught the first latch consistently, and prety easy, it will not catch the second latch. Next step when we get home is to follow Tom K's procedure taking a 1/8" off of the outside edge of the catch mechanism. Will report back after that. Hope it works as good as Tom's experience.
