Door curve

Ok, so just got back from fun camping trip and next one is 2 weeks away and we've decided to keep the camper at the house for 2 weeks instead of
putting it in storage. This gives me project time. The entry door re-curving looks like next on the list. But I want to correct the middle age spread
before I curve the door. Any good write up for that I should follow?

method. Others will remember better than me. But IIRC he said to attach an angle to the floor, cleaning the gap first, move the coach next to a
wall, and jack the side in attaching with good body adhesive.

If you can place the floor brace accurately behind the side seam where the
aluminum joins the plastic, then both 3M adhesives along with flush head
fasteners that go through the floor brace are the preferred way to go. Be
sure that the wall you use for a push point is substantial. We don't want
to bring down the house. (Grin)

I interpreted his question as about the more general spreading of the
mid-rif -- not the "chipmunk cheeks". I do remember someone posting how
they used a comealong between a beam across the doorway and another across
an opposite window opening. And how they tied the waistline longitudinal
member to the interior walls to try to inhibit re-settling. But I sure
can't find that album now. Surely someone remembers who did that?

As for the chipmunk cheeks, the recommended fix was by the deceased GMC guy
in Macon, GA, whose name I can't remember now. He suggested removing the
wheel well liner and the cockpit side panel. Clean the horizontal and
vertical surfaces under the floor along the outer skin and epoxying a
fiberglass angle along the interface of the two. Also remove the
rubber from the outer beltline trim and screw through it into the sidewall
structure on the '75 & later coaches with the stamped rather than tubular
structure. I'm reciting from memory of the demo he gave at one of our
rallies at Lake Park, GA; I've never done it myself.

I believe that Emery Stora did an article on fixing the coach spread that sometimes occurs on our coach a number of years back. I have not been able to find it and maybe he will post here on where to locate it. If I am incorrect please forgive me.
