however, the first three necessities are:
A tool kit
A coopy of The Black list
A high limit credit card

And the Black List is easily the most valuable thing. Print it and carry hard copy.

Well I'm leaving Fargo N D at 4 am to get to Oakes N D by 6 . Having flown in from Maine last night. If all looks good ill get on the road this
morning heading to visit Jon Roach in St cloud first. After that im hoping to visit Mies van der Rohe s Farnsworth House in Plano Illinois then bee
line home to Maine . I'll keep posting when i can . Riding with my copy of the black list.
Thank you everyone for your support
Regards,
Jeff

Well the coach in North Dakota didnt work out. But i found a 1977 edgemonte in Illinoise more money but much better condition. Heading back to Maine

I don't know the two coaches, but you probably made the right decision to spend a little more for a more reliable coach.
Enjoy! Scott.

after Jeff walked away from the coach in North Dakota, he stopped by my place Saturday afternoon to find me doing a little work on my GMC. I was
able to give him a ride in mine, where he had an opportunity to drive it around a little bit and take a quick look at the exterior of another local
GMC. We also made a quick trip to look at another Kingsley that is for sale about 45 minutes north of me. I need to go back up and talk to the
owner of that coach, as it looks like he has 10 of them that will be going up for sale. That one was not a fit for Jeff as well, and I for one
think he has made a good decision so far and the coach he bought looks to be a really good machine. Mine Coach must not be too awful as it did not
scare him off from continuing his quest East, where it looks like he picked up a good coach. Anybody in Maine, speak up, as he is from that area
and seems there is not much for ownership near him that he is aware of.

O

As far as that coach in North Dakota, as far as I know it first popped up last year, but maybe still for sale:
https://fargo.craigslist.org/rvs/d/oakes-73-gmc-26ft-glacier-motorhome/6902648458.html

Someone mentioned on facebook yesterday, that it was sold. Not sure if that is true, or confusion from Jeff going to look at it. Will see if that
coach ends up in Nebraska or not....

Coach has a 4 bag system, disc brakes in back. Main thing that I think scared Jeff away, was the owner mentioning of Pumping the brakes. There was
also a number of add-on's that were unknown, switches, and such. Leveling system was unknown, or not existent. Does not seem to be a coach that
a new owner should jump into and try to drive to the North East USA from ND.

One hopes the 'rebuilt at 95000 454' is a misprint and it's really an Olds 455. If it's a T.T., he made the right choice... run the other way.

Yep! If you want to play, you gotta pay. Fishing, Hunting, Hot Rods, RV's,
golf, you name it.
If you enjoy it, don't matter what it is, somebody is going to make
you pay for that smile. They aren't happy until you've not happy.

People ask why a let the S2-7.9 go.

I am going to have a T-shirt printed for the next regatta.

The big difference
between Boats and RVs?
Water can leak out of an RV!

I get plenty of sailing with friends on their boats and it is much less expensive.

Update
First off I can never thank Jon Roche enough for his afternoon of education and experience . "Glamped " last night for the first time in upper
Michigan, drank too much scotch due to my new home on wheels excitement. Im currently in sandusky ohio heading towards cleveland. Coach seems to run
great but i am finding some issues.
Small oil leak under passenger side front
Small gas leak if i fill tank to the max . Seems to stop when i''m down a quarter tank
Steering feels a little sloppy with tire vibration at around 63 mph
I cant seem to get the domestic water up to pressure . I can hear the pump but I only get a trickle. I Suspect the pump is toast unless there's a
valve to open or priming needed
I had a small incident leaving Detroit where i had pulled over to check gps and getting back on the highway the engine felt gas starved and had no
power. Pumped the pedal and it went back to normal. This has since dissapeared but wondering about carb filter?

Anyway, i love this thing. I Can back it into a parking spot and smile everytime i look at it
PO was a good man too!
Gps says 12 hours to go. Wish me luck and thanks everyone
Regards,
Jeffrey
