Garage 54 just put an air ride on a car. as usual it was low buck, low safety.
They used PVC pipe and an old truck tire for the air tank!!
I expected the PCV to fail.
It was the truck tire, it came useated and boom!
it was at 100psi

Never underestimate the power stored in compressed air systems

Wow, I really don't understand the logic behind using a tire for a tank. It's not exactly compact. It's so easy to find a free 15-20 gallon tank off a residential compressor that bit the dust too. Even cheapness doesn't explain it.

This makes no sense at all. I mean not only using the giant truck tire as an air tank, but also keeping it in the passenger compartment. But then again... That is what these clowns are known for - make everything so that it blows up or breaks in a spectacular ways to get more YouTube clicks. Long live the Algorithm!

Back in 1973 - I had a Volkswagen bus.. the windshield washer worked (sprayed) from a bit of air pressure that was to be added to the tank. Now that I’m older and wiser - I realize that there was most likely a bladder in that tank.

I have a 65 beetle. nope just a plastic reservoir, no bladder. there was a kit(?) that connected the reservoir to the spare tire though! cheap cheap cheap

Yay on the MicroLevel!

I dont think there is a bladder. I will have to look at mine next
Time in garage. (73 vw thing). Clean Windshield just means a flat spare tire.
