Once that you beat on it you need to replace it. No telling what or if you
did damage to the dizzy, just not worth it. The HEI is a very good setup,
but the cost will be somewhat higher that just replacing the points style
dizzy and adding the pertronix. You still end up with the stock style air
cleaner. How old are your wires? The plugs are the cheap part of the
tuneup. See shortcut for suggested plugs. For those of you that need
spark plugs for your generator look at the generator guide at the end of
the automotive section.
