I finished the Digi-panel installation along with a Vacumn gauge, new
Robertshaw 195 thermostat and NAPA TS6469 water temp sender. Test trip over
the weekend from Washington DC to Virginia Beach, VA and back - 400+ miles.
Digi-panel works fine, pleased with operation and location - right above A/C
panel under lip of dash. BUT....when it's dark outside, all I see are those
four bright green LEDs glowing in space and no idea 'which' ones are lit.
Really needs some illumination for front panel.
BTW the NAPA sender - since it's recommended so much as a replacement, why
didn't someone mention that it doesn't have the same spade lug connection as
the original. The one I got has a large solder post (at least that's what it
looks like to me) on top. Is there a mechanical snap-on connector for this?
The vac gauge sits between the speedometer and the other large instrument
gauge. Works very well for monitoring your gas usuage.
