I was wondering about doing the differential oil change while I’m spending time under the coach this spring. Any recommendations on a brand and
weight of oil? Also what kind of gasket as well.

Thanks,
Tom

I used Amsoil full synthetic in the flex pouch. The flex pouch allows filling in less than 5 minutes, put nozzle in and squish. Be careful in the
gasket not occlude the vent hole. I also installed the Rqgusa cast aluminum pan; has a drain plug for more convenient service.

Ditto on the Amsoil and the Ragusa cover. I used the quart bottles with the pump. I can’t remember the weight of the gear oil.
Seems I read here somewhere that you want to end the fill at 1/2 inch below the fill hole.

Ok, thanks guys. Will look into the Ragusa pan. Heading over to Napa today to order the gasket and other items I need. I’ll see if they carry
the oil there.

Appreciate it guys!

The Service Manual is as old as the coach.
USe Synthetic grease as it is superior in every way.
Do not use synthetic if it has New Gears as it will take lot of time to
break in.
