Did you coat your headers with one of the miracle ceramic type
coatings? If you did or didn't how is the engine compartment heat situation.
Tanks again for all your info I am very interested in this type of mod.

No. I was not aware of the ceramic coatings when I installed my headers.

I wrapped a few things (shift cable, dipstick, oil lines etc.) with a
braided heat shield fabric. I also opened up the wheel wells so more air
could escape out the sides. So far so good. No heat problems and no
problems with excess road dirt in the engine compartment.
