Demensions of the Lower Radiator hose for 455 Engine

Hello

Anyone know what the inside demension of the lower radiator hose is, I believe its 1.50 inches but can't seem to find the actual spec

The hose part number depends on whether you have a 403 or a 455. You could have either in 1977, so I won't make any assumptions. Perhaps the ID is the same (probably), but there are interchange crossover numbers that may provide specs.

RockAuto specs for a Toronado suggest it may be 1.5" on one end and 1.75" on the other end.

Between this thread, and the Napa parts page for that thread's corresponding lower hose, it may be 1.72" on each end. I wish I could tell you for sure, but I'd have to track down my coach and measure, and mine are older.
