Arch - Does your state have a "Lemon Law". Seems as though you have a legit case
for an extended warranty, if nothing else.

Arch,
I think you're going to be taking that lovely GMC out on the road sooner then you
had figured. But from where I sit you have everything mostly ready to go anyway.
This way you won't be wasting any more of your time messing with that SOB. You
can devote your full motorhome time to the GMC.
Good luck,
Richard Waters

Arch... all I can say... RIP to the La Sharo. If I can be of service, let me
know. Good luck on getting ready for boating season.

LeSharo is going? This is sad news. I only know one other person who has
one and they sent theirs to Finland. Is that where they go to die?

Anyway, think of all the free time you will have now, Arch.

A friend of mine just bought a LeSharo - guess what, it needs a
transmission!

Arch,

I'm really sorry this happened to you - after spending all this time and
money. I'm sure you did a great job fixing up the LeSharo, just like you are
doing on the GMC. It must be frustrating.
My friend is getting the LeSharo really cheap, and yes, we almost had to get
the smelling salts out when he first saw the price of a tranny! Makes GMC
parts look cheap.

When I see the things you have already done to your coach, motor etc., I
wonder what I could help with. Encouragement and suggestions on things I
have done will be easy... just email and I will be there.

Sorry to hear of the tragic death of a poor, misunderstood vehicle: the Vega
of the motorhome world.
Sounds like an experience my friend had when he took his car to AAMCO and
back and back and back :^)

I can relate to the vega. Had an orange and black GT as my first car. Did go
though a transmission or two due to the old neutral drop at 5k rpm. Could keep
up with my buddys on the curves though. Sold it for $500 in college. One week
later he visited a drainage ditch and bent the frame. I had already spent the
money on my Firebird Formula 400.
