Hi All:
Just got an update on Dave Marchiando - He is doing well - eats well, can speak, can walk w/ a walker, having trouble w/ balance and vision, blood pressure now under control w/ meds.
Drs say recovery will be over an extended time - they are recommending The Marion Joy rehab Ctr but no date as to when he may get moved.
Please keep Dave in your thoughts and prayers - on going and long term!

I just searched back, and don't see anything in the email archive about
this. What happened that Dave is recovering from?

Hi Rick:
My bad - I meant to send it to the GMC 6 Wheelers list.
But to answer your question - Dave had a stroke this past Fri early morning. It was a brain bleed in the optical area of the brain - affecting his balance and eyesite. He is still at hospital in Dupage, IL.
Drs say he is doing well but it will be a long recovery.
Thanks for all prayers!

MIke,

Thanks for letting us ALL know -- this is the first I'd heard also. Do you
know a route by which we can send Best Wishes?

To all GMCers:
Since he may get moved in the next day or 3, I recommend sending cards to his house in Sheridan, IL. His neighbor will then pick up and forward to his location or hold for him if he gets to come home shortly.
