Dash lights

HI Chuck
I don't know if there is a replacement for the fiber optic dash light
system or not but if you want a better system them go to your local
junk (recycle) yard & get 3 ash tray "bullet" lights & instal them.
These were common in a lot of 80's era cars & are not hard to find .
All you have to do is use a hacksaw blade to cut 2 slots horizontally
from the hole where the fiberoptic cable was & the bullet lights
slip right in. . Then wire them into the origional fiberoptic wires
& you have a ( in my opinion ) better system than the origional . It
will vary with the turn of the headlight switch also.
If this explanation is not clear please let me know & I will try to
clarify.

I don't know of a _direct_ replacement but Edmund's Scientific used to have
lots of differently configured fiber optic bundles. I suspect you could
get something that would work there.
