I have one of their dash covers that I obtained from Clasco when they were
in business.
It not only protects the dash from sun and heat damage, but from passengers
who put their feet on the dash.
I just talked to the owner. He informed me they have a cover for the 78
GMC. I told him that if I'm not mistaken, the 77's have the same
configuration (i. e. dash vents). They are willing to make a pattern for
other year's if someone will go to them. Very customer service oriented in
my conversation. They have samples of the material and colors to send. The
owner told me he has a cover in his Bounder.
They are located in Clovis CA, in the central CA valley, almost a suburb and
on the NE side of Fresno.
If anyone goes there to have a pattern made, I recommend you let the group
know. Conversely, if someone is interested in obtaining a cover and no
pattern exists, perhaps a request to the group would influence someone in
the area to go to the company to have a pattern made.
