Couldn't resist with all this wife bashing going on. Heinz - When your
wife sells the GMC for $1.00 then where will you be. I may sell all
3 of mine for $1.00 if I can't get this AB system fixed.
Ok - No leaks after tightenning every thing. Problem with the height
control valve -I think. Can any one confirm my suspiscions(sp).
I can raise and lower manually. System stays where I put it for long
periods of time so all leaks are gone. The left (drivers) side seems
to auto level fine. The right does not.
I disconnected the line to the bag, loosened the leveling valve link,
raised valve and held for 60 seconds. No air to bag. There is good air
pressure going into height control valve. The line to the bag is good.
I disconnected the hose at the bellows port of the height valve and
raised lever again for 60 seconds and no air out.
Is it the valve- (dumb question - I think it is) and do you rebuild or
buy rebuilt or new? Is there a better way (yeah I know the 4 air bag
system, but $$$$)? Cost of replacement? Buskirk, Cinnabar, Golby or
Alex?
