I have a 455cid motor in my 74 GMC. I just had the heads redone. Getting
ready to put them back on. Is there a Right and a left? I cant see a
diffrence
between the two.
Thanks,

Yup. Exhaust ports go out.

With that out of the way, check for the accessory mounting bosses for the AC
and alternator. They go on the front, and there are probably none on the
back of the heads.

The accessory mounting bosses are on both ends.
Guess it won't matter which side I put them.

Thanks Ted.
Thats great info. I was afraid I would put them on wrong and
mess something up.

Rob,
Be sure your tapped & threaded holes for your pump mounts etc. are foreward
and bolt em up.
