The ball joints are not the original, in fact they were changed about
10,000 miles ago. I have previous maint. bills to show this. This was
done by the previous owner. I knew the ball joints were worn when I was
dealing on the coach last July.
The a-frames show all of the things we do not want... Cracks on the
top, egg shaped side mounting holes. This is why I went to all of the
trouble to pull the a-frames out. I want to be trouble free when I set
out on holidays this summer. I will drill out the a-frames and ball
joints to 3/8 ", or a suitable metric equivalent (Canadian eh).
I was just hoping I did not have to re-invent something that someone
else had done (the template). If I have to make my own templates I will
save it for other's use. (Hopefully I can get some digital pictures
taken by a friend.)
I will be replacing with moog parts. (have them)
