Since the GMC [77 Kingsley] is going to be in the shop for a while =
during the rebuild, I thought I would check around into fixing something =
else. I am looking for someway to change the seatbelts. We need more =
seating for riding on the road. I am thinking that maybe with higher =
backs on the dinette seats and shoulder/lap belts 2 more spaces could be =
used during travel and would be safer than what is already in there. =
However, it would still have to be able to be made into a bed. Also, =
has anyone put shoulder/lap belts in the front?
Just curious if anyone has checked this out already or if I am =
barking up a new tree...Sharyn

Sharyn:

One thing you can do to anchor lap belts, if the dinette seats back up
to either the driver or passenger seats is lag screw the belt anchor
points to the wood flooring in the step area. Royale's used that method
of attachment to the top of the step area.
