Heat-Pump.. I'm not entirely clear how these work exactly - but here is article..

It would be typical that this is in fact what ROVAC became, but I don't think so.. My thinking is that this bumped ROVAC as most people are more than willing to work 110 volt instead of DC to air condition.. We are going to try the Polar Air III fans alone for a while and if they don't keep things kool enough, then I'll look deeper at home built DC ROVAC to assist chilling things down.. Which may or may not work - in which case - Heat Pump it is.. (aprox $800 USD with taxes and installation)..
But even the Emerald generator is a still a noisy beast if you are trying to listen to crickets and chipmunks romping about. Mostly, I am trying to keep my roof clear as our elephant REALLY looks great with clean roof..
Raising the broader question again - it is GMC 260 best super-van ever built or is it really tight Class A.. I think it's a super-van.. but I think I'm in the minority..
