I am have trouble finding these control arm bushings, AutoZone cannot cross
reference them.

Can I just use a Toro's bushing??

Do the upper one's come with the bolt?? Mine are chewed up.

Have pulled front end apart to replace bad CV Boots, found bad lower ball
joints, marginal
wheel bearing (Thanks Tom & Scott for the pullers), and bad bushings. The
fun is just starting as I work my way back.

Any help will be much appreciated!!

ps Larry: How's the Carb coming?? Are you going to use the Siam as a Toad??

Richard you really want to use Moog parts instead of TRW. The correct Moog
part numbers are:

K-5222 for the lowers
K-7104 for the uppers

You should be able to order them at any parts store

A-Arm Upper bushings Moog K-7104 and lower bushings Moog K-5222
I'm pretty sure the uppers are offset. When I first replaced mine I
opted for the non-offset ones. After the wheel alignment I wished that
I had used them. They are the same for the Toros. Check out Gene's web
page for a "how-to" on replacing them. The procedure can be
accomplished with the arms installed on the coach, or on the bench, same
principle. I would recommend that you reinforce the tip of the lower
control arm before you replace the ball joint. It's fairly straight
forward and after seeing how badly cracked mine were, I heartily
recommend it. (I'm pretty sure mine were cracked because the PO
installed the ball joints incorrectly. A problem well documented in the
GMC archives.) I also switched from 5/16 bolts to 3/8 with the nuts
installed on the inside, as per the manual. Take a good look at your
idler arm & pitman arm. My pitman arm was worn beyond anything I'd ever
consider useful for even a paperweight.
