I am currently looking for a small tablet to be dedicated to the software on the Howell fuel injection EBL. I know I need a USB port and Apple
operating systems will not work, but will the software run on an Android operating system?

Are there any preferred tablets that are being used?

Thanks and take care all,
Tom K.

The basic Howell EFI system does not require a computer. It has been pre-programmed for the 403 or 455 engine and learns the fuel corrections as you
drive it.

With the added EBL system to the Howell, then a computer is used to easily change parameters and features if desired. Once any changes have been
made, you can disconnect the computer and it runs on its own.

The EBL's What's Up Display (WUD) is a Windows only program, so must be used on a Windows machine. I have a small Windows 10 laptop computer with a
detachable touch-screen which makes it more like a table. It's an RCA Cambio computer I purchased at WalMart a couple of years ago for about $125Cdn.
Its not a powerful fast computer, but it gets the job done. I use it only for monitoring when driving down the road. For making any changes, I use
my regular Lenovo Thinkpad laptop. Its just easier to use with my big fingers and old eyes.

Here is the RCA Cambio, but it doesn't look like its available anymore:

I've used some small netbook style computers in the past with no issues. The WUD program is small and very simple so it seems to run fine on anything
I've used. I've never tried it on Windows 11 though.

I've heard of some guys that used an Android tablet as a remote screen with a Windows computer doing the actual work.
