Since I'm getting ready to replace the compressor pressure switch
(Square D FHG-12J52/ Grainger 5B419, also requiring a 45-
degree elbow and close nipple on my installation. The one I'm
removing is a Penn Controls that I couldn't find an exact
replacement for) on the 73 Glacier either tonight or tomorrow, an
item in the "Required Info . . ." caught my attention. Under the
heading "Air Suspension System" there is a reference to rewiring
the "compressor power for "stiff"+ & - power".
What is that? What is "stiff"? What wiring change is involved?
Also, notwithstanding a recurring random stupid attack, I've run
across an acronym/abreviation that I can't decipher. It's in the parts
manual and other places (and having grown up in a GM service
family, I should know this) -- but, what is RPO?
BTW, going to see Bob Lamey tomorrow morning to get a couple
of adjustments and a look-over before we take a Thanksgiving trip
up to Morro Bay. Glad to know someone with his knowledge and
skill is so close by.
Thanks for your help!
