I was asked awhile back about my setup re communicating from my GMC. (Sorry,
but the email address is on PC that's running UNIX at the moment. Just in
case you're not reading it here I'll send a direct note later as well)

Sorry to take so long to get a reply going. I thought I'd answer here as
there may be additional folks interested.

So as not to clutter up the net it's posted at
www.bytedesigns.com/gmc/tidbits -- follow the Hi-Tech link.

If that doesn't work try: www.bytedesigns.com/gmc/tidbits/electrons.htm

I'm kinda' limping here communications wise while in the tulies of Northern
BC so have posted with eyes closed :-)

I'm sure there is elaboration needed so be sure to ask if you have
questions.

Thanks for the pointer on Communications and the weather report... Has
anyone else noticed that weather seems to be getting increasingly
regionalized or provincialized? Here in Maryland we are in a 100+ year
serious drought and well over an index of 100 on the discomfort scale
this summer?

How about averageing some of this weather out?
