My Dometic microwave ceased to heat recently. It comes on, and makes the same buzz it always did... everything normal except there ain't no
microwaves. Is anyone familiar with these toys? It's a strange setup in that it has an ON and a COOK button in addition to an electromechanical
timer. I've not seen one before with this setup - though this is my first Dometic microwave anyhow.

It would be much less expensive to replace today rather than repair and if it is older than 8/10 years old part are going to be none existent. Find a newer Convection/Microwave unit the same size. New unit with better features.

If I don't find a busted switch or something obvious, it will leave. I'll put whatever is cheap on Amazon or WalMart in. I want a bit of space
anyway, I want to mount my range hood under the microwave cabinet and vent it out the side of the coach or pick up an existing vent. Right now, I
have to clean the bottom of the cabinet any time I cook.

Removed it. Build date is 1982 - surely ~~35 years is enough. Prospecting for a new one has begun. I'm gonna also have some more shelf space. Life
is good.

I found a Haier low bux one at Lowes which will allow a shelf in the cabinet and ductwork for the exhaust fan. There's already a vent in the side of
the coach for it. 60 bux with discount. Unless the Dometic has a high voltage fuse - which it doesn't - a dead klystron is the culprit. Anybody
wants it for parts holler, otherwise it gets junked.
