Cockpit window leak question

I used a hollow 1/4” punch for 6 holes in the weatherstrip for each drain slot. Be sure they are properly aligned before punching. Simply slide the weatherstrip into the channel then use a yellow colored grease pencil to mark the begin/end of the drain slots. To make the weatherstrip easy to slide into the channel, use some liquid silicone in the track.

Even after replacing the weatherstrip in the cab windows, they still leaked like a sieve at the front corner. I eventually gave up sealing those OEM windows and replaced them with the full length windows - no more leaks.

Hey all, what does the felt kit do, exactly? I seem to have clogged drains in the side rear windows and am wondering if I just need to declog with an air compressor and replace the gaskets, or more?

The felt kits are just for the small front sliding windows for the driver and passenger. There's no felt in the rest of the windows, just plastic tracks. Under the plastic tracks are slots in the window frame to allow water out. You can pull out the slide tracks and clean under them to open up the drain slots.

I was told that those windows went NLA.
I had no more trouble once I cleaned the drains and put a little spiz in the open corner.
