Does anybody know the model number of the water heater Coachmen installed in the '77 Birchavens? It's a six gallon Atwood propane type with engine
coolant heat exchanger. The sticker with the model info is illegible in my coach, trying to see if the 91592 inner tank can be used as a
replacement...

I got one from Jim K at Applied GMC for my Coachman. Perfect fit with the same features that mine had. Very pleased with it. And a good price. Plus a very important item. He'll stand behind it after the sale. Made that mistake with outside venders. Ended up paying twice.

I will endorse what Bob D said in another post. Here is the info for Jim K's replacement water heater:

While I'd love to support Jim - I already have a big hole in the side of the coach for the Atwood. Plus, no propane is a non-starter for me - I very
very rarely camp where there are hookups for power.

Sorry. I thought all year models were upfitted with electric water heaters. The MM I have for 77 says its electric.

John, I sell enough so never feel like you need to hold back when it comes
to discuss these things.
I ca and have helped people, knowing hat they will end up purchasing
elsewhere.
So, I do not understand your issue as if you do not hook up, you can use
the LPG??
Call me as maybe you just need a new tank.
