Coach for Sale

For the guys looking for a great GMC ready to go anywhere you might want
to check out Mike Finnicum's 1978 Eleganza II. He mentioned to me
recently that he is somewhat anxious to sell as he has another one (a
stretch) that he has to finish and he recently spotted yet another he is
tempted to buy. ( Momma says no more than two GMCs at a time!)

I have driven his coach and it is in great shape and runs straight and
quickly down the road. He was asking around $38k and recently had an
sight unseen offer from Bethune that he is contemplating. Someone looking
for a coach ready to boogie might want to contact Mike as he is in a sell
mood.

Take a look at www.songtek.com and look for the GMC.

Hey Dave!
What's this some sort of scavenger hunt? I went to www.songtek.com
and I couldn't find anything to do with a GMC for sale. I did learn
a bit about Country Music however.

Sorry Richard, I pulled that URL out of my head. Check Scott's note for
the correct address. I understand Mike has knocked about $8k off his
asking price!

GMCnet,

Saw a ad in the local Booster paper read,

1973 23' GMC Excellent condition, Onan 3KW gen.? , Roof & dash air,
microwave, dinette area with upholstered swivel chairs. Queen size bed.
awnings. $10,950 520-758-5055
Talked to him (2nd or 3rd owner) alittle on the phone, said coach is in
perfect condition about 4,000 on rebuilt 455, Ft. end including bearings
redone ayear and ahalf ago(local shop). Coach miles 83,000? Repainted stock
Cream/Maroon colors. He said 50hrs on Onan? Didn't get anymore info, as he
had to leave.

Ran across a 1973 26' Glacier Blue TZE063V102296 , Its at Collector Cars
U-Can Afford Ltd. 4046 11th Street, Rockford, IL 815-229-1236 Pretty much
original, had two newer roof airs, interior was original, passenger couch
seat in front, was in only fair shape and had been sitting for a long time.
Needed tires bad , big puddle under steering box, blocked up, air out of
bags, lot of surface rust on rotors. claimed was owned by one family for a
long time, they are asking 10K or best offer. 82K original miles claimed,
Looked like it could with a lot of work make someone a good coach. This
place also had a number of beat toros and Eldos from 68 to 77. You could
probably afford to buy their cars but couldn't afford to fix them up.

Mike in GB

Mike,

Thanks for the details on the coach in Rockford, IL. It was not in the
Registry and your detailed report, including the TZE helped to put it
there.

Thanks and more thanks!

David,

Saw a Palm Beach, TZE166V103248 in an RV lot on US10
north of Anoka, MN this past weekend. Nobody was
around so we could not do a good inspection. Floor
plan was a modified three. The dinette had been
replaced with swivel chairs and a small wall mounted
table between them. Thats about all we could see thru
the windows. External did not look too bad. If you
want more info, we will make a trip up and try to get
whatever you need.
