I finally got tired of tripping over stuff, so I'm "re-arranging".

I hate (absolutely hate) throwing stuff away, which is evident by my running
out of room in my Garage.

Anyways... I have a tire monitoring system that I never installed due to
it's apparent complexity. I can't even recall the manuafacturer, but in
talking with him 'way back when he did say that he had several GMC
installations. I believe he is/was from Dallas, TX or TX somewhere.

It consisted of sensors being screwed onto the valvestem and a wire (quite
stiff) leading to a transmitter module which was glued to the inside of the
rim.

I'm posting this as a "just in case" someone has this setup and needs a
spare module and perhaps even the receiver, etc. (I'm bound to find it as I
rummage/re-arrange).

This item is scheduled for the dump, but I'll hang onto it for a bit longer
to see if anyone needs anything.

If it is still available, I would like to take the system off your hands. Let
me know how much, and I will report back to the group how it works and what I
think of it.

Wayne,
I had thought of it as an offering to someone that might have this installed
and needs some spare parts. I have no idea if it's still supported, etc.

I don't have all the pieces whereabouts yet :-)
I just ran accross the sensors/transmitters and it started me thinking
dumpster (as in garbage, not Jim's Dumpster :-)

I'll assemble what I find as I try and clean up and if noone speaks up that
has one and wants it for spares you're welcome to it provided I can indeed
find all the pieces.
The price: A beer sometime when we meet somewhere [ plus shipping :-]

I did talk to a company that does the system (yours ?) about a month ago, but I
hadn't purchased yet. Truckers use them and I own 2 straight trucks an F350 pu
plus the GMC. Your price is great.
Thanks.

Wayne,
I'll keep looking for the rest of the pieces as I cleanup :-)
If you're buying you might want to wait until I can report on the SmarTire
system I just installed.
I also have the TireSentry (see my website) but thought I'd try the SmarTire
as well while doing Alcoa replacement as it (SmarTire) provides actual
pressure and temperature for each wheel.
