City Water Connections

Took a break from the ONAN generator fiasco (still not running) yesterday and hooked up a water hose to the city water connection. A few minutes
later, carpet was a puddle mess. Attempted to remove the city hookup and can not figure out how to get the connection out enough to check if the back
of it is the problem. Not wanting to rip out walls unless it is my last option. Any ideas?

Take the back wall out and disconnect the city service. Just use the 12v
pump system. The pros of city water are not worth the cons like you are
experiencing. Leaks, broken pipes etc.

There is a check valve between the city water input and the coach
plumbing. Do you get water on the floor when running the coach water pump
with the galley and bathroom sink faucets turned off?

If you do , you have that last option to face.

If not, glue the city water cap onto the city water service. That will be
a reminder not to use it.
